There is nothing I dislike more in this world than insecurity and ego. Not because I believe I am exempt from this common human experience, but because I witness everyday the damage it does to people’s lives. How it holds them back, cripples them in action, and prevents them from living a fulfilled life. As complex as ego and insecurity can be, what they really boil down to is one base emotion; fear.

Self-Reflection Question

What fear is feeding my insecurity—and how has avoiding that fear kept me playing small in my life?

This question helps you stop attacking symptoms and start addressing the root. GI Griffin makes it clear: insecurity isn’t just self-doubt, it’s fear dressed up in overthinking, comparison, and hesitation. If you want to beat insecurity, you need to face the fear that’s powering it.

Self-Improvement Challenge

This week, write down your top 3 insecurities. For each, identify the fear underneath—and take one bold action that directly challenges it.

Whether it’s fear of failure, rejection, or not being enough, the goal is to expose the fear and face it head-on. That’s how you stop managing insecurity and start dissolving it—for good.
