31 May Accept Yourself, Not Your Insecurity
”To be accepted by others, first learn to accept yourself.”
Reflection:
Beating insecurity is about learning to accept yourself, love yourself, and being yourself. That is the cure for the fear that you’re not good enough. Too many people seek internal love for themselves through external validation from others. This is a recipe for codependency and never being able to stand on your own two feet emotionally.
To be strong emotionally, start by exploring who you are. Be brutal in looking at who you really are, and once you clearly see who you are as a person, accept it. There may be problematic flaws that cause problems that need to be addressed, but if the rest is you, accept it with gratitude for being you. And then BE YOU! This is the path to freedom from your insecurity.
