03 Jun CEO Mindset vs Worker Mindset
”Think like a CEO, not like a worker. The details don’t get results, the big picture does.”
Reflection:
Having the mindset of a CEO is nothing more than understanding about the big picture. To be able to do what you need to do as a CEO within C-suite, you need to be able to understand strategy, and strategy is the big picture. If you’re constantly looking at the details of things, you may get lost in the weeds and just only see the trees.
What you need to see is the forest, the forest about your life, about work, about relationships. Understand what things will actually go ahead and make a big impact or a big difference and focus on those. That’s what a CEO does. They don’t get caught up in all the details, say like a worker. Instead, they understand the big picture of how to keep the ship afloat.
So essentially, I’m saying to have the mindset of a CEO not like a worker, where their focus is the specialty, just the details. So when you do that, then you open yourself up to amazing things and actual real impact and difference for your life.
